Equity Health Services is a Canadian healthcare company that provides strategic and operational healthcare solutions for government, Indigenous communities, and a diverse range of private sector industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, construction, hospitality, and mining. Our customized, innovative offerings range from diagnostic solutions to the delivery of mobile health services in remote, challenging, or under-resourced locations.
COVID-19 testing solutions for public health authorities
Equity is contributing to the fight against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) by helping public health authorities across Canada to rapidly increase their testing capacity.
Our partnership with Seegene Inc., the world leader in cutting edge diagnosis technology, has enabled us to widely deliver and increase COVID-19 testing across Canada. Approved by Health Canada, the Seegene COVID-19 test is effective for high volume testing, which is a critical component in controlling outbreak diseases. As of April 20, 2020 over 10 million Seegene COVID-19 tests (Allplex™ 2019-nCoV Assay) have been shipped to 60 countries around the world.
COVID-19 testing solutions for private and public sector organizations
Early detection is key in helping to flatten the curve and protect your organization’s employees and location(s). We have drawn upon our vast experience in collaborating with expert partners to develop proactive and preventive advanced on-site screening and testing procedures.
Provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Our extensive experience in procuring equipment from the medical manufacturing sector, combined with our supply chain and logistics experience, has made us experts at navigating what has suddenly become one of the world’s most in-demand industries.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, we have helped governments and private sector companies around the world procure personal protective equipment (PPE). We have also assisted many clients with the procurement of emergency hospital medical devices and consumables.
Assessment of populations through respiratory clinics in collaboration with public health authorities
Respiratory clinics are critical in controlling the community transmission of COVID-19. A network of clinics throughout the country would allow specialists to screen, evaluate, and provide patients with guidance about further treatment, while reducing the risk of infection and limiting other patients’ exposure to respiratory illnesses.
We help public health authorities rapidly set up and open respiratory clinics in order to take pressure off hospital emergency departments and primary care physician’s offices and enable rural and remote communities to be assessed and tested close to their communities.
Emergency infrastructure such as hospitals, respiratory clinics, and remote health solutions
Equity Health Services field-proven mobile medical facilities are available in either soft-skin (tented) or hard-skin (modular) configurations and can be delivered to remote, challenging, and under-resourced areas anywhere in the world. All of our Mobile Medical Facilities are pre-built and tested prior to being shipped, and a 100-bed mobile hospital can be assembled and operational within 72 hours of arriving on site.
We have unparalleled experience in developing solutions and delivering best-in-class healthcare services where traditional models of care are not available or are inappropriate. Our mobile solutions supplement and support local infrastructure and programs, thereby ensuring that services remain consistent, and that local governments have the flexibility to meet the specific demands of communities in need.
